and for almost 20 years I've been building Rustico Genua — a place where stone, wood, and a lifelong dream come together in harmony.
When I first came here in 2006, it was nothing but wild forest — no road, no water, no electricity. I didn't even know there was a lake view. One winter, I climbed a tree and suddenly saw a shimmering reflection in the distance — Lake Maggiore. In that moment, I knew this was a special place.
Since then, I've built everything with my own hands — the road, the house, the sauna, the interiors. Every corner of Rustico Genua carries my energy, my effort, and my love. It became not just a building, but a part of my soul — a refuge, a creation, and a lifelong passion.
Today, Rustico Genua is more than a private retreat. It's a space of peace and inspiration — ideal for creative workshops, art retreats, weddings, psychological seminars, and private events surrounded by untouched nature, at 1000 m above sea level with breathtaking views of the mountains and the lake.
